It is a park located in Tena Valley, a 1300-metre high forest with beautiful surrounding views. It offers us a route of two hours watching bears, wolves, lynxes, buffalos and sarrios (Pyrenean mountain goats), among other animals. All those animals have grown in controlled environments or have been rescued in appalling conditions and now they are cared for by the park equipment.
There is a path in the car park of Lacuniacha toward the small lake of Piedrafita, a short walk available for everyone and offers us excellent views of Peña Telera and all the Partacua mountain range.
We can go to the cable railway of Panticosa, which gives us the opportunity of ascending to the small lake of Sacobos, at the foot of Tendereña mountain range, where we have excellent views of all the valley.
We can cross the border by the Tena valley and get into a beautiful French valley. There is also a tourist train in Artouste, to which you access by cable railway. It was built in 1920 and is the highest train in Europe. It allows us to go easily to the Artouste lake and enjoy the excellent views of the Pyrenees.
