VISITOR CENTRE IN ORDESA AND MONTE PERDIDO NATIONAL PARK
It is in the car park, at the entrance of Torla, 7 minutes from our rural house. It has three exhibiting spaces related to the mountains of the National Park, a room dedicated to Bucardo, Pyrenean mountain goats, whose last specimens lived in Ordesa Valley. The information and the visitor service points are also in this area.
THE PRISON OF BROTO
The prison of Broto is a stone tower that used to be the prison of Broto Valley. Inside we can find very important engravings made by prisoners, dated from different times and are very high quantity and quality compared with other engravings preserved in similar places.
It is in the Ainsa Castle and the bearded vulture is its protagonist. It offers us a guided tour about birds of prey which can’t live in freedom, dealing with their biology and their conservation efforts. There is also available information about the natural environment and the possibility of doing guided tours.
