It is a perfect place to practice climbing and is the starting point of the modern climbing in the Pyrenees. On April 21, 1957 started the great history of climbing in the Ordesa Valley and the mountaineering in the Pyrenees. A group of five French climbers heading by Jean Ravier, after crossing the border port of Bujaruelo, climbed the impressive south wall of Tozal del Mallo after 17 hours climbing and a bivouac.

Nowadays, a wide range of adventure companies offer courses of all levels in all time of the year.

There is also ice climbing. You ascend by mountainous ice formations or by ice waterfalls and you need a special equipment. This activity is only available in winter with very low temperatures.

In our rural house you will find information about the adventure companies in Broto Valley.
